MAGNUS POIRIER INC.Stefanie Starna (Glockner), a beacon of love and strength, passed away January 29th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 54 years old.





Born in Montreal, Stefanie was known for her boundless devotion and an unwavering support of her family. Her life was a testament to the power of resilience and strength, a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.





Stefanie embodied a mother's love, steadfast, nurturing, and profound. She stood as Thomas' greatest cheerleader; the beacon that inspired and guided him. Her words and actions were a nurturing embrace in every moment of his life.





Stefanie was an endearing wife. Her partnership with Donald Glockner was filled with love, respect, and mutual support. Together, they built a life full of joy, laughter, and beautiful memories. Her presence was a comfort, and her love a pillar of strength.





As an aunt to Diane (Reda) and Michael, Stefanie has had an impact on their lives that will forever be cherished. Her generous spirit, staunch support, and caring nature touched their lives perpetually. She was ever present, offering comfort and guidance with a loving heart and a helping hand. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.





Stefanie was not only a sister to Sandra, but a best friend, her love and devotion knew no bounds, Stefanie enriched our lives and created cherished memories that will last forever. Her fun-loving spirit and trustworthy nature made her an inspiration in our lives, her love and impact will continue to live on in our hearts forever.





Her role as a friend was marked by unwavering loyalty and empathy. Those who had the privilege of her friendship knew they had an ally for life, someone who would stand by them through thick and thin. Her warmth and generosity knew no limits, and she touched the lives of many with her compassionate spirit. Her vibrant spirit and infectious optimism left a mark on everyone she met.





Stefanie leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished. In addition to her husband and son, she will be deeply missed by her sister Sandra (Mike), her father Antonio, her brother Dino, her niece and nephew Diane (Reda) and Michael and a wide circle of family and friends.





Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 6825 Sherbrooke Street Est, Montreal, QC. H1N 1C7, on Friday, February 9th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the chapel of the Complex at 8:30 p.m.





A burial service will be held on Saturday, February 10th at 10:00 a.m at le Repos St-Francois d'Assise Cemetery.
