MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosa Perrone Guida at the age of 95 on April 16th 2023, formerly of Alvignano, Italy.
Cherished wife of the late Andrea Guida and adored mother of Anna Maria (Carlos) and Stefania (Pasquale), the proud grandmother of Andrew, David, Evita and Luca. Rosa will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends in Italy, United States and in Montreal.
Predeceased by siblings Ida (Venanzio) and Emma, her Brother-in-law Antonino, Maria (Alfonso), Oreste (Lina) and Assunta (Salvatore). Dear sister of Guido (The late Mena), Italia (The late Salvatore), Lucio (Mario) and Flora (Antonio).
Rosa had a heart of gold. She was kind, gentle and very devoted to her family. Rosa loved preparing family dinners, she enjoyed her gardening, especially her roses.
She was truly a story-teller at heart, living a long life at 95. Always ready to give practical advice and words of wisdom to her daughters, especially to her young grandchildren. We will truly miss you and love you forever.
Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday morning as of 8:30 a.m.
A ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Pompei church thence to the cemetery Jardins Urgel Bourgie (Parc du Souvenir) in Laval.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Research of Canada Society would be appreciated.
