Mrs Donna Cassar (1956 – 2024 )
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Lynn Cassar who died at the age of 67 at her home surrounded by her family on April 10, 2024. She was the daughter of late Shafic Cassar and late Mary-Rose (Kalian) Cassar and wife of Mr. Tameen Esper of 43 years.
Besides her husband, she was greatly cherished and will be deeply missed by her children Philip (Catherine Rouleau), Tamara and Leila and her grandchildren James and Livia.
She was the sister of John Cassar (late Nouha Saba) and the late George Cassar (Zina Zakko) , she left to mourn also her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
We warmly welcome family and friends on Wednesday, April 17 from 7pm to 9pm at the Steve Elkas Funeral home (4230 rue Bertrand-Fabi, Sherbrooke). On Thursday April 18, the family will be present at the funeral home starting at 9am before leaving for a memorial service to be held at the St. Ephrem Church (150, 13th Avenue East. Sherbrooke) at 12pm and following by the interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St Ephrem Church or to the CHUS foundation ( Oncology Department ).
