PLOURDE, Mr Rejean

1940 - 2023
It is with heavy hearts we share that on August 3, 2023. Mr. Réjean Plourde lost his battle with lung cancer and passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care unit of the Hotel Dieu in Sherbrooke, Qc. Predeceased by his parents Augustin Plourde and Therese Plourde (née Bouchard), he leaves in mourning his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Beverly Plourde (née Hazard), his daughter Annette Plourde (Mark Stadtmiller), and his brother, Father Marc Plourde. He will be sadly missed as well by Beverly’s family, her sister Edith Hazard (the late Ivan Hazard), her brother Robert Hazard (Trudy), their sons Rob (Renée) and Alan (Heather) and their families.
A private funeral was held for the immediate family at St-Patrick’s Church on August 22, 2023 followed by the burial at the St- Michel cemetery in Sherbrooke.
The family would like to thank ALL of the care team from the Hotel Dieu Palliative Care unit for their devotion and care. Your expressions of sympathy can be demonstrated by a donation to the CHUS Foundation, Palliative Care.
