MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria LiPomi Lonigro at the age of 94. Maria was predeceased by her loving husband, Pasquale Lonigro, her sisters Tita (Ciano), Bettina (Luciano), Pina and Crocetta (Calogero), her brother Salvatore, her brothers-in-law Paolo, Ercole and Domenico as well as her beloved nephew Zino.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her children Rocca (Michael) and Mike (Shauna), her step grandchildren John and Kalvin, her godson Franco (Tina), her sisters Angela, Giovanna (Aldo), Nina (Mimmo), Nunzina, Concetta and Rosellina, her sister-in-law Vittoria, her brother-in-law Franco as well as her 17 nieces and nephews in Italy.
She will be dearly missed by her friends as well as her extended family in Canada, USA and Italy and all whose lives she touched.
Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 7388 Boul Viau in St-Leonard on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A ceremony will be held on Monday, April 29th, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel church thence to The Cemetery Le Repos Saint Francois D'Assise.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Centre de jour Dante.
