On August 14, 2023, Mr. Marcel Jason Cooper, residing in Waswanipi, passed away at the hôpital du Sacré-Coeur-de-Montréal at the age of 49 years and 7 months.

The Sport Complex of Waswanipi, the funeral service will take place on Monday, August 28, 2023, starting from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for friends and the public. Subsequently, the service will begin at 11:00 AM.

He leaves to mourn his children Joshua Cooper-Gull (Jamellia Camel), Charity Cooper-Gull, Lucas Cooper-Gull, Thomas Cooper-Gull and August Cooper-Gull (Niinah Cooper), as well as his grandchild Zemeyah Camel-Cooper.

He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Adamie Mathias, Wayne Mathias and Marcia Mathias, nephews, nieces, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
