Né à Londres en 1939, enfant de guerre arrivé au Québec avec sa mère en 1948, Dennis Wood, éternel guerrier, a mené une longue vie, remplie de maints succès et victoires, mais aussi de quelques revers et défaites, sans jamais baisser les bras.

Nous le savions tous souffrant depuis de longues années.
C’est en ces jours froids d’hiver qu’il connaît maintenant le repos éternel.

C’est donc avec tristesse que nous, sa famille immédiate – Son épouse Hélène Germain. Sa fille Alyson Wood (Michael Burchmore) et ses enfants Malcolm, David, John, Tamara Son fils Christopher Wood (Jordan Dowding) et ses enfants Melissa, Alexandra (James Mitchinson), Shannan. Sa belle-sœur Lise Major et sa famille – vous annonçons par la présente son décès.

Homme généreux, imbu d’un optimisme contagieux, entrepreneur accompli et éminemment respecté, il n’aura laissé personne indifférent.

Les funérailles seront célébrées le vendredi 20 janvier 2023 à 13h, en l’Église St-Patrice de Magog (115 rue Merry Nord, Magog, QC, J1X 2E9).

Born in London in 1939, a war child who arrived in Quebec with his mother in 1948, self-made man and tireless warrior, Dennis Wood lived a long life, filled with many victories and successes, as well some failures and defeats, without ever giving up.

As most knew, he had been unwell for many years; it is on a cold winter morning that he finally found eternal rest.

It is therefore with great sadness that we, his immediate family – His wife Hélène Germain His daughter Alyson Wood (Michael Burchmore) and her children Malcolm, David, John, Tamara, His son Christopher Wood (Jordan Dowding) and his children Melissa, Alexandra (James Mitchinson), Shannan. His step-sister Lise Major and her family – hereby inform you of his passing.

A man of great generosity and contagious optimism, an accomplished and greatly respected entrepreneur, he will have left no one indifferent.

The funeral will be celebrated January 20, 2023 at 1 pm, at Saint Patrice Church in Magog (115 rue Merry Nord, Magog, QC, J1X 2E9).
