MAGNUS POIRIER INC.Consiglia De Lauri Rigione peacefully passed away on Friday February 24th, 2023 at 9:40 PM at the age of 87, surrounded by all her loved ones.
Beloved wife of Antonio Rigione, and mother to (The late) Davide, Diana (George), and Filippe (Rosa). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Christopher (Sarah), Amanda (Claude), Anthony (Samantha), Matthew, Nicholas (Katrina), Davide Jr (Jennifer), Giuliana (Marco), and Michael, and great-grandchildren Taylor, Dante and Florence, her siblings Elio (Nina), (The late) Alfonso (Antonietta), and Alba (Jean-Guy), her sister in-law Mariannina (The late Carlo), her nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Consiglia loved the simple things in life and spending time with her precious family. Anyone who knows her can attest that she was the most caring and unimaginably brave woman. Although we cannot imagine a world without her, we will cherish and remember her forever. She was the light of our lives.
Visitation will be held at Magnus Poirier funeral complex, 10300 Pie-IX Blvd, on Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm.
The funeral services will be held at Notre-Dame-de-la-Défense church, 6800 avenue Henri-Julien, on Thursday March 2nd, 2023 at 12pm, thence to Le Repos St-Francois d’Assise Cemetery, 6893 Sherbrooke St E.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at the dialysis unit of the Montreal General Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal General Hospital Foundation, Nephrology division would be greatly appreciated.
