MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Caterina Bucaro Borsellino on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at the age of 82. Caterina is now reunited with her parents, Anna and Andrea Bucaro, as well as her siblings, Salvatore, Antonino, and Andrea. She is survived by her loving sister, Angela, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.



Caterina was a loving wife to husband Antonino Borsellino of 65 years. She was a devoted mother to Sebastiano (Giuseppina) and Giovanna (Pietro). Adoring Nonna to seven grandchildren, Caterina (Anthony), Antonino (Alexia), Antonina (Alexander), Vincenzo, Mario, Antonino and Caterina. Proud Bisnonna to three beautiful great grandchildren Sebastiano, Alexander and Ophelia and a fourth to arrive in the coming months.



Caterina will be remembered for being one of the longest surviving liver transplant patients at the Royal Victoria Hospital. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated medical professionals who cared for her, Dr. Marc Deschenes, Dr. Jean Tchervenkov, Dr. Jeffrey Barkun and Ziba Aalamian. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through the generations she touched. Caterina will be dear in the hearts of the lives of her many nieces, nephews and friends.



Visitations will be held at The Cemetery of Laval, 5505 Rang du Bas St-Francois in Laval on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.



A ceremony will be held on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 4 p.m. within the chapel of the cemetery.
