1925-2008

Peacefully succumbed to Alzheimer Dementia on Oct. 9th, 2008 at the age of 83.

Zdenek (Stan), also known as “Mr. D” – a proud gentleman to the end, will be fondly remembered by his wife Caroline (Kaja) of 48 years;
children Paul, Mary Anne and Helen;
grandchildren Alex, Mathew, Steven, David & Peter,
and nephews and nieces.

Renowned for his keen ability of retaining worldly knowledge, described by many as our “bibliotheque”, Zdenek could speak 5 languages, loved listening to classical music. He had a lifelong devotion, and made significant contributions to Sokol Canada and Sokol Abroad (Czechoslovak Gymnastic Association).

For those wishing to do so, donations can be made to the CHSLD Vigi Reine-Elizabeth, (2055 Northcliffe, Montreal, Quebec H4A 3K6 (514) 788-2085) in memory of Z.M. Dobrovolny.

Visitations will be held from 12(noon) to 2pm and 7pm to 9pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Qc H2V 2P9 (514) 279-6540
