Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on December 7, 2011 at the age of seventy-seven. Beloved wife of the late Ate Lageveen. Loving mother of Ellen (Brendan). She will be missed by many relatives and friends here and in Holland. Visitation at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344, on Tuesday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thank you to the wonderful staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital 4 West. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
