LEWIS, Ursula Eileen (nee Robinson)
June 21, 1922 – November 22, 2011
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, stepmother, grandmother and friend on Tuesday November 22, 2011. Widow of the beloved Adrian Lewis, she will be greatly missed & remembered by her children David, Ian, Penny and Margaret and stepchildren Owen, Arlene, Joan, Earl, Yolande, Ann, Peter and Michael.
In 1952 UNESCO appointed Ursula youth leader representing the Caribbean for the World Assembly of Youth where she travelled throughout Europe visiting Italy, Spain, France, Belgium and Switzerland. Ursula received a BA from the former Sir George Williams University and a teaching certificate in Special Education from McGill University. Her teaching career spanned 42 years in Trinidad and Canada. In the latter part of her work life, she touched the lives of children at Royal Arthur School in Little Burgundy, Westmount Park Elementary and finally retired from Keith School in Lasalle.

Visitation on Friday November 25th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard des Ormeaux, 514-685-3344. Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 26th at 2pm at St Luke’s Parish, 106A Anselme Lavigne, Dollard des Ormeaux.
