1926 - 2014

Passed away on Thursday, March 27th, 2014, at the age of 88. Predeceased by her spouse, Roger St-Amour; her parents: Jean-Baptiste Monette and Lorenza Proulx; three brothers: Armand, Wilfrid and François; two sisters: Évangéline Brizard and Jeannette Monette; one sister-in-law, Lilliane Monette; two brothers-in-law: Alphonse Brizard and Théodore Vaillancourt. Beloved mother of Monique St-Amour. Loving grandmother of Jason O’Connor. Dear sister of Laurette Vaillancourt. She also leaves behind two sisters-in-law: Mona Monette and Helen Monette, as well as her nephews, nieces and many friends. VISITATIONS: Wednesday, April 2nd from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m at SERGE LEGAULT FUNERAL HOME. FUNERAL SERVICE: will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Church, 115, Sacré-Cœur Blvd, Gatineau, Qc. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, reception to follow.
