Theofanis (Theo) Damoulis, son of Constantinos (Kosta) Damoulis and Valerie Smyk, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 6, 2020 at the tender age of 10 years old following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Theo will always be remembered as a sweet, caring, intelligent young man with an old soul. His quick wit, humour and unique perspectives kept everyone who knew him on their toes. His creativity knew no bounds and he took enormous pleasure in drawing, building Lego, reading scary stories and collecting rocks and sea-shells. He loved camping, spending his summers in Greece and most importantly enjoying his tea with cookies at the end of the day with his family. He is loved deeply and will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Theo is survived by his loving parents Kosta Damoulis and Valerie Smyk, his sister Danika, his maternal grandparents Linda and Denis Smyk, paternal grandmother Sophia (Krissa) Damoulis, Godmother and aunt Dina Damoulis, his aunts Mary Damoulis, Kathryn Smyk ( Eric Batema), uncles Victor and Michael Smyk, cousins and godfathers, Mikey and Big Theo Pagonis, and cousins Anthony, Sasha and Cody. Theo is preceded by his Papou Theofanis Damoulis (1941-2016).
Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 222 Boul. des Laurentides, Laval, Qc., H7G 2T6 on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on the same day at 2:00 p.m. at The Holy Cross Church, situated on 4865, ch du Souvenir, Laval, Quebec, H7W 1E, thence to the Yves Légaré Cemetery (near Autoroute 13), 33 rue Principale, Laval, Qc, H7X 3V5.
