NURSE, Theodore (Ted) Richard

Passed away peacefully on July 19, 2011 at the Montreal General Hospital at the age of seventy-three. Beloved husband of Carolyn (née Woodward) for 53 years. Loving father to Nancy (Jaimie) and Kimberly (Ian), brother to Joan and the late Betty. The family would like to thank Dr. Ferri and the amazing nurses and staff of the Montreal General thoracic unit and the staff of the 9th floor ICU unit for their devotion, support and loving care. A special thanks to the transplant team of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Visitation at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344, on Sunday, July 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Monday, July 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a service in the Rideau Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Montreal General Hospital (Thoracic Surgery Unit) would be gratefully appreciated.
