BECK, Stephen Istvan

Dr. Stephen Istvan (Pista) Beck, passed away on May 31, 2011. He is survived by his wife Magda, for whom his was the principal care-giver this past 15 years, by his son and daughter-in-law Leslie A. and Mona Beck, his grand-daughters and their husbands, Elizabeth Beck and David Birnbaum and Alison Beck and Dr. Richard Friedlander as well as his nephew and niece Peter and Marlene Csakany and their children Lee and Lisa Herman; Andrea Csakany and Jon Csakany and Dr. Raquel Trattner. A memorial will be held at a later date. Donations in his honour may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada (National Research Programme) or the charity of your choice.
