BERGER, Shirley

Berger, Shirley (nee Elkin) On June 27, 2011, at the age of 86, after enduring two debilitating illnesses for too long. Daughter of the late Ethel and Max Elkin, wife of the late Gordon Berger, she is survived by her three daughters Maxianne, (Doug Williams), Joanne and Suzanne, by her son-in-law Norm Ness and by her sister Anita Elkin Abramson. Shen will always be missed by her beloved Annie. The family is grateful to her companion Malou Alea, for four years of devoted care, and to the staff of 3 North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre. A Gathering will be held on Sunday, July 3, 1-3 pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont (514 279 6540).
