BAIRD, Ruby

After a brief illness, Ruby Baird (Wilson) passed away on June 10, 2013 leaving behind her loving husband John Wilson. Ruby is survived by her three daughters Marsha (John), Joan (Peter) and Jennifer and dear cousin Pat Gagnon. Ruby also had many grandchildren: Erin (Marc), Rochelle (Bruce), Jeff (Caryl), Jackie (Dana), Mark (Katherine), Chris (Danielle) and Corinne (Matt) and great grandchildren: Taylor, Jake, Liam, Charlie, Logan, Georgie, Leah and a few soon to be born. Ruby has two brothers, Robert and Ray who lived in Alberta.

Ruby was predeceased by her first and second husband, George Henderson and Robert Viau and three brothers Al, Russell and Merle.

Ruby had a career at Sealtest Dairies and retired to pursue many activities which included travelling, planning events for her friends, spending time with her family and being a wonderful friend to many.

What an incredible woman. Fortune was bestowed on those that knew her. Ruby lived to smile, laugh, hug, dance, listen and love. "Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of the 5th floor, as well as the staff of the Palliative Care department of Centre Hospitalier de Lachine.

Graveside service for the immediate family will take place Wednesday morning.
