MAROLDA Rosa
1937-2020
MAGNUS POIRIER INC.Rosa Marolda (Scaringi) was born in Italy (1937) and came to Canada after marrying her husband (Michele) in 1958. Together they started a family including four children (Maria, Francesco, Gerardo, Antonietta) in Cornwall, Ontario and then moved to Montreal, Quebec. She later moved to Toronto to live with her daughter Maria. She was known by many to be a kind and genuine woman who touched people’s hearts with her contagious smile. Her deep faith in God kept her strong until her silent departure early Christmas morning which seemed magical.
We thank the medical and nursing teams on 5 SW at North York General Hospital (Toronto) who were simply outstanding in their delivery of care and kind support. We are also grateful to her long standing nurse, Mrs. D. Kalabic (Toronto) and physician, Dr. V. Lee (Toronto).
Mrs. Marolda was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law , great aunt and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
The visitation will take place at Magnus Poirier, 6825, rue Sherbrooke Est , Montréal, on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 from 3 to 5. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 4t, 2021 at 10:30 at the complex.
