Dearly loved Rolande Morand (Christie) passed away in her 101 year.
Predeceased by her late husband David Christie (married 48 years), Daughter Denise (2007)
Parents Wilbrod and Emma (Nee Sarrazin) Siblings Lucien, Auguste, Jeanette.
Beloved mother survived by her children, Barbara, Patricia (Phillip), David (Linda May), Linda (Louis)
Loved greatly by her grandchildren, Craig, Lauren (Adam), Colin (Melody), Michael (Alyssa), Erin (Jason), Lindsay, Paul, Cole.
Loved and sadly missed by her three great-grandchildren- Raquel, Cole, Falyn.
Loved Aunt to Diane (Bernard), Lise (Marcel), Craig (Lil)
The family will receive your condolences at Magnus Poirier Funeral Home - 6825 Sherbrooke E, Montreal. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 30, 2020. From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the Service to follow from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Private Interment on Monday August 31, 2020, at Le Repos Saint- Francois D’Assise.

Rolande, worked at Pierrefonds Manoir as the executive secretary, until her retirement and kept in touch with Mona and Mr. Larocque. Over the years Diane, Lise, Craig, shared many memories. She enjoyed activities, celebrations and holidays with all her children and grandchildren. Her baking and cooking were enjoyed and admired by all. She enjoyed activities that included Bridge, Hiking at Morgan Arboretum, Skiing, Swimming, Tennis. Rolande was an accomplished Opera singer, who loved all music and would break out in song to entrance and serenate us all. She lovingly performed for family, and theatre, her soprano voice and smile lit up each heart. She was a beautiful woman of courage, grace, compassion, and resilience. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that you make a donation to a charity of your choosing.
