PAQUETTE, Robert

1933 - 2017

St-Sauveur

Robert Paquette, 84, of St-Sauveur, died on July 24, 2017, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in Montreal, he immigrated to the United States with his family in the 1950s, settling in Philadelphia. He became a US citizen after serving in the US Army during the Korean War. He spent his career installing and servicing burglar alarms for homes and business in Pennyslvania and later Maryland, where he lived for many years. After retiring, he returned to Canada. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Monique ; two sons, Michael (Monica) and Tim (Teresa), and one daugther Manon (Bob) ; three grandchildren, Chrissy, Alexa, and Daniel ; one great-grandaughter Ella ; a sister, Madeleine ; two brothers, Pete (Nat) and Gil (Sue), and their children ; and his sisters-in-law Lise and Nicole.
