LAING, Robert John

Peacefully, at Ste. Anne's Hospital, formerly of Lachine, on Friday, December 20, 2013 in his 95th year. He will be loved forever by his four children: Judith (Bill Studnicki) Cornwall, ON; Arthur (Sandra) Priddis, AB; Elizabeth, Pointe Claire, QC; Richard (Ramona) Port Coquitlam, BC; his five grandchildren, Jeannie, Bryan (Victoria), Chelsea, Brittany, Morgan and two great grandsons Kieran and Bryson. He is also survived by two sisters, Norma (late George Cyr) and Muriel. Bob was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Joy (Nov. 2008) as well as his four siblings, Willard, Arthur, Evelyn (late Howard Butler) and Phyllis. Bob was a dedicated family man who loved camping and gardening. He also was a long time member of the Lachine Curling Club. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII and was a very proud 67 year member of The Royal Canadian Legion.
