SAVARD, René

René, 62, passed away on October 27th, 2011, with his family by his side in Pointe-Claire, Québec. Beloved husband of Wanita Adams and father of Michael (Leanne) and Susan (Amato). He will be greatly missed by his precious grandchildren Samuel and Sofia, as well as his sisters Yvonne (Pierre), Yolande and Madeleine (Julien), his brother Raymond (Monique) as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

His family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation towards the wonderful staff and volunteers at the West Island Palliative Care Residence, whose warm and tireless care was a great comfort to all.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, (514) 685-3344,. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 2nd, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the Rideau Chapel.

Donations in René's memory may be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
