It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter on August 17, 2009 in Lourdes, France. He is survived by his wife Giuseppina (Josie) Garone; his mother Maria; his siblings Angie (Lino), Jack (Sasha), Rina (Andrew), Tony (Melanie) and Giuseppe (Michael); his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Giuliano, Jason, Coralie and Tristan; his many friends and relatives.
The family will receive condolences at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10 300 Pie IX, Montreal North, Tuesday August 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 26 at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame Basilica, 116 rue Notre-Dame West, thence to Cimetière Laval, 5505 Ch. Bas St. Francois.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Air Canada Dreams Take Flight Fund would be appreciated by mail or online in memory of Piero Flammia:
