On Tuesday, September 25th 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Dad passed away peacefully in the arms of his beloved son Peter James and daughter in law Sharon (nee Smart). He was greatly loved and precious memories of him will be forever held in the hearts of his grandchildren Peter Ryan and Sabrina, his brothers Jimmy (Lori), Robert and his wife Margaret along with nephews Derek, Jeffrey, niece Trisha and their families.
Retired from Peacock Brothers, Dad was a lover of horses, art, music and an author of 2 books. He fought a valiant battle and is finally at peace to forever walk along the lakeshore with his faithful companion Snoopy.
The MacArthur family will receive condoleances and have a celebration of his life on Sunday, October 7th 2012 from 1 PM to 5 PM at Magnus Poirier, located at 222 des Laurentides, Laval, H7G 2T6.
Dad will be interned with dignity next to his father Peter Quinton MacArthur and mother Elsie (Kirkland) at a later date with his family.
Special thanks to his friends at Vigi Santé and the staff who cared for him at the Lakeshore General Hospital 4 South.
The family ask that In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Alzheimer's society.
