MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Pasquale (Pat) Manna at the age of 74, on Friday June 24th, 2022 in Montreal.
He was the cherished husband of Maria (Gesualdi) Manna, with whom he was blessed to share 54 years of marriage. He was the loving father to Costanzo, Gabriella (Fidel Aparicio), Jeremy (Maria Polletta) and devoted Nonno to his grandchildren; Amanda, Daniel (Giulia), Francesca, Emmanuel, Vanessa, Jordan, Alexia, Alessio and great grand-daughter Aliyah.
He will be deeply missed by his brother and sisters, uncle and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pasquale cherished life and his family greatly.
His generosity was contagious, and can be seen and heard through the many testimony’s of his love and compassion he had for everyone who he encountered.
One of his greatest passions was photography. With every snapshot he captured God’s beauty in nature and the essence of life.
At a young age, he made a life changing decision to follow Jesus Christ, and up until his death he used every opportunity to share the good news of how Jesus transformed his life.
We are grateful to God that his life was extended on numerous occasions. He was a walking miracle! Throughout his trials and sufferings, he always had a song of praise to sing.
We would like to thank the Oncology team and the doctors and nurses of the Maisonneuve Rosemount and the Heart institute of Montreal for their genuine care and compassion.
A special thanks to L’Art-Rivé – Centre de Jour R.D.P; a non-profit organization that was very close to his heart, in helping others cope with mental health.
The visitation will be held on: Thursday, June 30th from 2pm - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm and Friday, July 1st from 9am to 10am at Magnus Poirier 10300 Pie-IX Blvd., Montreal Nord, Quebec, H1H 3Z1.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, July 1st at 10:30am at Good News Chapel 5845 Bd Couture, Saint-Léonard, QC H1P 1A8 followed by a burial at the Laval Cemetery.
