It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our mother, Pamela Cynthia Jefferies. She is survived by daughters Cynthia and Angela (Claude) and her wonderful grandsons, Alex, Connor, Eric and Michael, of whom she was so proud. She will be missed by her many dear and life-long friends as well as relatives in England.
Pam will be remembered for her warm and gentle nature, her elegance and style, her love for life and her dogs. Her family and friends were the most important things in her life and she demonstrated that by the compassion, loyalty and support she always provided.
After emigrating from England in 1956, she soon settled in Montreal and later Ile Bizard in 1961 where she has lived ever since. Pam enjoyed her daily walks in the woods with her dogs and her summer days sailing at Ile Perrot Yacht Club.
Please join us for a celebration of her life on Saturday April 28, 2012 for a chapel service at 3pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd des Sources, Dollard des Ormeaux, 514-685-3344. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Jewish General Hospital or the SPCA is welcome.
A gathering to honour Pam will take place at a later date at the Ile Perrot Yacht Club. Details to follow.
