Completed his earthly journey peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care Residence on March 16, 2011 at the age of eighty-eight. Beloved husband of the late Doreen Grigg. Cherished father of Dorian (Gerard Joncas) and Linda (Chris Chimbers). Loving and devoted grandpa to Christine Joncas (Martin Skobla), Steven Joncas, David Donnini (Kimberly Thorne), Michael Donnini and Daniel Donnini. Adored great-grandpa of Owen Skobla. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. A celebration of Owen's life will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344, on Monday, March 21. Greeting of guests at 7:00 p.m., service at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments and a gathering of family and friends will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated.
