Born in Hull on September 30, 1925 passed away on July 4, 2011 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred Parent and Léna Massé, two brothers, Jean-Paul and Bernard, three sisters, Jeannine, Madeleine, Thérèse and her husband, Maurice Leblond. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudette Jean, his children, Marcel (Hélène Gagné), Daniel, Louise (Serge Cusson) and Lorraine (Jean-Marc Miner), seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a brother André (Micheline Raymond) and a sister, Pierrette Parent Tanguay. He also leaves behind his brothers-in-law, Léonard Tanguay and Marcel Lacasse, his sisters-in-law, Jeannine, Thérèse, Simone, Pierrette and his nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: There will be no visitation at the Maison funéraire Serge Legault. FUNERAL SERVICE: will be held on Thursday July 14th, at 11 a.m., at St-Joseph Cathedral, 245 St-Joseph Blvd., Gatineau, QC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The family will receive your condolences thirty minutes before the funeral service. DONATIONS: As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 15, Buteau, #105, Gatineau, QC, J8Z 1V4 would be appreciated.
