MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Ornella Besina Pietroniro on March 5, 2019. Born in Italy on May 19, 1938 Ornella made her way to Canada with her family during her teenage years where she met and married the love of her life, Umberto Guido Pietroniro who misses her immensely. The beautiful, loving and devoted mother to Aurora (Anthony Antipas), Angelo (Luisa) and Danny (Julie), she also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Alexander, Evan, Alyssia, Michael, Genna, and Daniel who will always remember her spirit, positive energy and love. She will be lovingly missed by her sisters Anna, Marcella, Nadia and Gianna as well as brother in laws, sister in laws and all family and friends.
Ornella, you lived all life's moments to the fullest and your radiant smile lit up every room. Even during the toughest times your incredible strength, passion and love always prevailed. We love you forever.
Visitation will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 6825 Sherbrooke east, Montreal, on Sunday March 10, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Magnus Poirier at the address above thence to Le repos St-François d'Assise Cemetery.
For those who wish, a donation in her memory can be made to the Cedars Cancer Foundation.
