After a lengthy illness and an exceedingly courageous battle, on Monday, July 4, 2011. Beloved husband and friend of Scherly Herman. Loving father of Alexander and Adem. Predeceased by his parents, Ismail and Maria Kendir. Brother of Nina and uncle of Murat. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He strongly believed in the power of community, and lived accordingly.



A Memorial Service and Celebration will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 7 pm with a reception to follow at
