HAMEL, Mr Gerard (Gerry)

Passed away at the CHUS-Hôtel Dieu, Sherbrooke, on Monday, July 18, 2022, at the age of 81. Gerard Hamel was the son of the late Gaston Hamel and the late Roseanne Labrie, husband of the late Denise Laliberté, living in Sherbrooke (St-Elie).

Mr. Hamel leaves to mourn his wife Margaret (Margie) Erskine; his daughter Sandra Hamel
(Michel); his grandchildren Vanessa W. Hamel (Pierre Olivier), Jimmy Hamel (Kathy) and
Maxime Dodier ; his great-grandchildren William, Louane, Jules, Ulysse; as well as his brother and sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and relatives.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service and there will be cremation.

The family would like to thank the CLSC, Emilie Blais, Dr. André Jacques and Dr. Marc Bezeau for their presence, and the kind and professional care given to Gerard
