Peize, Miervaldis (Valdis) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Valdis Peize on March 30, 2011 at the age of 94. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife and best friend Drosma, daughters Daina (David Forbes) and Lauma (Stephen Blair), and his many friends and relatives in Canada and Latvia. Visitation to take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (514-685-3344) Monday, April 4, 2011, 12:00 - 2:00 immediately followed by a memorial service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or Daugavas Vanagi would be greatly appreciated.
