Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Montreal, Quebec on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his wife, Kathleen (nee Brathwaite). Loving Father of Suzette, Adrian and devoted grandfather of Sade. Fourth of eight children, Merton was predeceased by his brothers Ivan, Neville and Elon. Survived by sisters Erma Waterman and Gretel Evelyn of Barbados, Louise and Margaret. Merton will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and many family and friends

Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 7th at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, DDO (514) 685-3344, as of 10 a.m., followed by a service at 11 am and an interment at Rideau Memorial Gardens.
