Passed away peacufully on July 20, 2011 at the age of 89 years with her beloved husband and daughter by her side. Survived by her husband John of 69 years and sister Yolanda Mastro. Devoted mother to Ralph (Barbara), James (Claudette) and Dora (George). Proud grandmother to Claudia, Andrea, Angela, Michael, Kathryn and Stephanie and to six great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at the 4th floor N at the Lakeshore General Hospital and special thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers of the W. I. Palliative Care Residence. The family will receive your condolences on Sunday, July 24 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, DDO, 514-685-3344 with the religeous ceremony taking place at St. Edmunds of Cantherbury Church, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd, Beaconsfield, Qc on Monday, July 25 at 11am followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence, 265 Andre-Brunet, Kirkland, Qc H9H 3R4.
