It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Marilyn on April 1st at the age of 64 following a courageous battle. Marilyn was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Predeceased by her husband Ernie and sister Brenda. She will be greatly missed by her children Terri, Neil (Jennifer), grandchildren Isabella and Reece, brother Peter (Pat), many nieces, nephews and friends. Marilyn touched the hearts of so many with her vibrant approach to life and her friendships provided her with a fighting spirit, optimism and positivity. She was truly one of a kind. We could not be more appreciative for all the support provided by the wonderful people at Masterpiece on Nun's Island. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, DDO, 514-685-3344 on Tuesday, April 5th from 10 to 11am, followed by a celebration of Marilyn's life in the funeral home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
