Marian Gladys Duchesne (nee Durocher), at the young age of sixty-four, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side, at the West Island Palliative Care Residence, Tuesday, February 2, 2011, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. The loving daughter of the late Gerald and Frances Durocher, Marian was the beloved wife of Gilles for 46 years. She will be forever in our hearts and sadly missed by her husband and three children: Danny (Chantal), Darlene (Garth) and Debbie; by her five brothers: Gerald Jr., Ronald, Allan, Eric (Marilyn) and Kenneth; by four grandchildren: Kristin, Jean-François, Kyle, Alexandre and her many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, DDO, 514-685-3344 on Monday, February 7 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral mass at Saint-David Church 12450 Gascon Street, Pierrefonds on Tuesday, February 8 at 11am followed by a reception at Rideau Funeral Home.
A heartfelt thank you to the medical team at the Lakeshore General Hospital and the compassionate and loving care she received from the staff and volunteers of the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
