Maria peacefully passed away at the Sacre-Coeur Hospital on August 14, 2010. She was surrounded by her daughters Tina, Linda (Mike) and Nancy (Yves). She leaves also behind her grandchildren Lisa, Amanda, Michael, Samantha, Sabrina, Justin and Jayde, her sisters Emilia (late Gaetano), Leontina and Assunta (Nicola) as well as many other relatives and friends.
She is resting at

Her family will receive condolences on Wednesday August 18, from 2 to 5 pm and from 7 to 10 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday August 19, at 11 am at Transfiguration of our Lord parish, 11775 Fillion (Corner Dudemaine), St-Laurent, and will be followed by the entombment and gathering at Rideau Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacré-Coeur Hospital Foundation. Donation forms are available at the funeral home.
