In Montreal, on November 23, 2021, Maria Tavarozzi, wife of the late Vincenzo Di Tota, passed away peacefully at the age of 93. 
She was born in Casacalenda, Italy on May 18, 1928,  the eldest child of the late Giuseppe and Maddalena (Ferrara) Tavarozzi.

She leaves to mourn her children Maria Rosaria, Robert (Lena), Danny (Anna), her loving grandchildren Paul (Cathy), Jayme, Tania (Sunil), Adam (Sumona), David (Jessica), Tommy, and her precious great grandchildren, Damien, Leo, Kaya, Riya, Kyle, Kayla and Sienna. 
Maria was pre-deceased by her husband Vincenzo, her siblings Carlo and Pina, as well as her granddaughter Amanda Di Tota Kalino, her brothers-in-law Lino and Ciro and her sisters-in-law Maria, Amelia and Antonietta.

She will be deeply missed by sisters Michela and Argentina, brother Antonio, sister- in- law Carol and many relatives and friends in Montreal, Italy and Connecticut. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 2873 Sauvé East, Montreal followed by a private family gathering at Côte-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
