Passed away peacefully at Denis Benjamin Viger on December 10, 2011 at the age of ninety-four. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Valela. Loving mother of Giuseppina (Giuseppe Bertucci), Domenico (Pasqualina) and Giuseppe (Ersilia). Cherished grandmother of Antonio (Angela), Mary (Jim Leonidas), Salvatore (Jo-Anne), Maria Rosa (Kevin Warren), Adelina (William Adams), David (Taryn) and James (Cristina). She will also be missed by 14 greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344, on Wednesday, December 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at St. John Fisher Church, 120 Summerhill, Pointe-Claire, on Thursday, December 15 at 11 a.m. Many thanks to the staff of 3rd floor at Denis Benjamin Viger for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations to La Fondation du Centre Denis Benjamin Viger would be greatly appreciated.
