It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mamma and Nonna on February 13, 2017 at the age of 95 surrounded by her family. We are comforted in knowing that she will be reunited with her husband Giuseppe and son Jimmy, both of whom she missed so much. She will be missed by her children Lucia (Ricardo), Angelo (Josie), Carmela (Robert) and Jimmy's fiancée Franca. She was happiest when surrounded by her adored grandchildren Sandra (Donny), Pamela, Lisa (Vince), David, Jennifer (Steve), Jason (Parnia), Robert (Carolina) and Esteban; they meant the world to her. She also leaves behind brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. We will be forever grateful to her many caregivers in the last few years for their love, compassion, empathy and patience.
Visitation will take place at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 boul. Pie-IX, Montreal, on Wednesday, February 15, evening from 7 to 10 pm, Thursday, February 16, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm, and Friday, February 17, morning from 8:30 to 10:45 am.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, at 11 am at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church, 7645 du Mans, St-Leonard.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
