1924-2021
MAGNUS POIRIER INC.BROWN, MARGARET (née DUMAS), age 97 passed away peacefully April 25, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Born in 1924 to Jean Marie Dumas and Kathleen Kelley, she is predeceased by her brothers Bernard (Claire) and Guy (Hermance). She was raised in Ste-Agathe-de-Lotbinière, QC where she met her love, David Brown (predeceased)
Margaret was a teacher for over two decades and no visit to her home was complete without the tasty goodness of her homemade donuts on the kitchen table.
She will be sadly missed by three children, Gerald (Pamela), Myron (Carole) and MaRita. Her predeceased son and his wife (Erwin/Darlene) are now with her.
She was blessed with seven beautiful grandchildren – Kevin (Toni), Theresa (Richard), Tyler (Kelsey), Courtney (Rob), Kelsey (Cody), Kellie (Mark) and Shannon (Marc). She also was loved of five great-grandchildren – Eva, Siena, Callum, Nolan and Cash and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff at Ste. Anne’s Hospital and at Grace Dart for the many years of excellent care.
With restrictions due to Covid 19th, her funeral will be held in private on May 4th, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date when we can gather and relive so many treasured memories. In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated towards the Alzheimer Society.
