MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our beloved and beautiful Malcolm Azur Thomas Orrell, who passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the tender age of 18.
He is deeply cherished by his mother, Cynthia Marie Paginado, his father, Christopher Ralph Orrell, and by his everloving siblings, Leiona, Vivien, William and Ingrid Orrell. He will be painfully missed by his grandparents “Lolo” Azur and “Lola” Alice Paginado, and “Nanny” Doreen Martin Orrell. He is predeceased by his beloved “Papa”, Thomas Ralph (Sam) Orrell.
Malcolm is forever and lovingly remembered by his treasured aunt and uncle “Tita” Hazel Victoria Paginado and “Tito” Alex Leung.
He is the dear nephew of Sharon (Joe) Orrell, Peter (Susan) Orrell, Linda (Don) Orrell and Alan Orrell. Malcolm leaves behind many loving cousins, family and friends.
Malcolm attended Dawson College. He is a member of the 2015 graduating class from Loyola High School, a place he considered his other home during his five years there, and will be sadly missed by all his friends, and the staff and members of the Loyola community. He will also be missed by the loving communities of St. Aloysius, St. Brendan and Good Shepherd parishes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Magnus Poirier funeral home located at 6825 Sherbrooke St. East, Montreal, H1N 1C7 (Tel: 514-727-2847). A funeral mass will be held in thanksgiving of his life on Saturday, April 8, 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Parish (held in Ste-Louise-de-Marillac church) located at 7901 Ste-Claire St. (corner Honoré-Beaugrand), Montreal, H1L 1W2. Immediately following mass will be the procession to the internment in Le repos Saint-François d’Assise cemetary located just behind the Magnus Poirier funeral home at 6893 Sherbrooke St. East, Montreal, H1N 1C7 (Tel: 514-255-6444).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider offering donations to any organization providing support and accompaniment to our youth.
