MEILLEUR, M Bernard

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Bernard Meilleur on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the CHUS-Hôtel-Dieu at the age of 78 years old. He was the son of the late Hélène Lacasse and the late Émile Meilleur.

Mr Meilleur leaves to mourn his loving wife Eileen Macey Meilleur, his children Lorraine (Pierre Chartrand), Philippe (Katy Balk Meilleur) and Rachel (Jean Beaudin); his grandchildren James and Emma Chartrand, Mathieu and Eve Meilleur, Émilie, Alexandre and Léa Beaudin; his sister Carmen, his brothers-in-law Ronald (Margaret) and Ian (the late Pamela) and his sister-in-law Bridget. Predeceased by his brother Marcel, his brothers in-law Alexander and Douglas. He also leaves to mourn many family members and friends.

Visitations will take place at Saint-Patrick’s church on Monday july 12, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.. Funerals will follow at 2 p.m. at the same place.

The family would like to thank all the staff of the CHUS-Hôtel-Dieu palliative care unit for the care Mr. Meilleur received.

Au CHUS-Hôtel-Dieu de Sherbrooke, jeudi le 24 septembre 2020, est décédé monsieur Bernard Meilleur à l’âge de 78 ans. Il était le fils de feu Hélène Lacasse et feu Émile Meilleur.

Monsieur Meilleur laisse dans le deuil son épouse Eileen Macey Meilleur, ses enfants : Lorraine (Pierre Chartrand), Philippe (Katy Balk Meilleur) et Rachel (Jean Beaudin); ses petits-enfants : James et Emma Chartrand, Mathieu et Eve Meilleur, Émilie, Alexandre et Léa Beaudin, sa sœur Carmen, ses beaux-frères Ronald (Margaret) et Ian (feu Pamela) et sa belle-sœur Bridget. Il était également le frère de feu Marcel, le beau-frère de feu Alexandre et feu Douglas. Il laisse également dans le deuil plusieurs autres parents et amis.

La famille sera présente pour recevoir vos condoléances à l’Église Saint-Patrick de Sherbrooke le lundi 12 juillet 2021 de 13h à 14h. Les funérailles suivront à 14h au même endroit.

La famille désire remercier tout le personnel de l’unité des soins palliatifs pour les bons soins prodigués à monsieur Meilleur.
