MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Luigi Pietrangeli at the age of 85. He will be sadly missed by his wife Vitalina Tunno, his daughters Elisabeth (Giacomo), Dina (Walter) and Nina (Tony), his grandchildren Domenic, Veronica and Erica, his brother Gregorio and many other relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Thursday morning as of 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-la-Defense Church thence to Le Repos St-François D'Assise Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Lapointe and Dr. Chang, from the Palliative Care Unit of the Jewish General Hospital as well as Dr. Melnychuk and their respective staff for the special care and comfort offered to our father. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Palumbo for his valued support towards the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jewish General Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
