MCGUIRE, Lorne

Passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2011 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence, in his 79th year, with his soul mate, dearest friend and wife Carol (nee Tuckey) of 44 years by his side. Son of the late Patrick McGuire and Loretta McCormick. Predeceased by his brother Kenneth and sister Carmelita Lee. Lorne is survived by his cousin Donald Fraser (Lise), by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces as well as wonderful friends.

To all who have known and loved him, he will be sorrowfully missed.

His family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 24th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc, 514-685-3344. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 25th, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Rideau Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence www.wipr.ca would be appreciated.
