Passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. She leaves behind her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Hugh Lundy Carre, her children, Janet, Karen (Tom), Alan, her 6 cherished grandchildren, her siblings, Julia, Eddie and Nancy, and many other relatives and friends and her feline companion Puma. An artist at heart, she enjoyed painting, traveling, square dancing and games.
Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, DDO, (514) 685-3344, on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 11 to 1 pm, followed by a service in the funeral home chapel.
