Rankine, Lilian Selma (nee Spielberg)
Passed away on Saturday September 20th, 2008 at the age of seventy-two after a lengthy illness. She will be dearly missed by her three children Barbara, James, and John, two grandchildren Krystal and Karrie, and a large network of dear friends. Many thanks to the team of doctors, nurses, and support staff of the 15th floor and the 10th floor Palliative Care Unit of the Montreal General Hospital for your warmth, kindness, and professionalism. Lilian has been a dear friend and counsellor to many. Her loving and encouraging words of wisdom will be sorely missed by all. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday September 25th, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Qc H2V 2P9 (514) 279-6540. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Le Bon Dieu dans la rue, 895, rue de la Gauchetière West, level 90, suite 220, Montreal, QC H3B 5K3.
