RICHARDS, Leona T.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, on May 6, 2011 at the Montreal Neurological Hospital in her 72nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Edward. Loving mother to Janet (Donald Mitchell), Gail (Andrew Finnigan) and Jill (Robert Reid). Cherished grandmother to Gareth, Madison, Jenna and Nathan. Sadly missed sister to Lawrence (Thelma), Irene, Ernest (Violet), Barbara (Roger), Selena (Keith), Jane (Noel), Louise (Rod), Peyton (Lillian), William (Jerlene), Gerald (Sandra), Conrad (Valerie) and Cecelia (Gerald).  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff at St Mary’s Hospital.

Friends may join the family on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, DDO (514) 685-3344 as of 11:30. A Service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
