MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Lawrence Fox, at age 78 on Friday, March 7th 2014 surrounded with much love from his entire family after a valiant battle. Beloved and loving husband of 50 years to Clare Fornarolo, proud father to Nancy (Sam Pergantis), Arlene (Louis Bizzarro), Laurie (Raja Kadri), and Kevin (Caroline Duval); and cherished grandfather to Ryan, Shannon, Kayla, Brendan, Ashlee, Patrick, and Terrilyn. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX on Thursday, March 13th 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., and on Friday as of 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2014 at 11 a.m. at La Paroisse St-Leonard, 5525 Jarry East, thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Pavilion D (8 NW) of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Profound gratitude is extended to Dr. Martin Black, Dr. David Melnychuk and their respective staffs for their constant dedication throughout his illness.
